Dear Burnet Hill Families,

I hope everyone is well! May is a very busy month here at Burnet Hill. I am happy to share all of the events we have planned for the next couple of weeks:

  • On Wednesday evening, May 13, there will be a special dinner and BOE meeting to honor our Teacher of the year, Melissa Lowenthal.  We are happy to have her represent our school.
  • Our next cultural assembly is scheduled for Friday, May 15 with the Pushcart Players. Thank you to the HSA for sponsoring this event!
  • Field Day is Friday, May 22! Our Bobcats are gearing up for a fun filled day! A BIG thanks goes out to our Phys. Ed. department and Field Day committee. A letter will be sent out regarding the day.
  • Our Student Council is running a “Spread Smiles Toy Drive” to support the pediatric emergency room at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. We are collecting new and unopened toys from May 11- May 29. Thank you for your support!
  • School will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our main office.

 Have a great day,
Lisa Barreto
