Snack Update (26-27)
This year as an elementary district wide decision, we are committed to keeping snack time as a brief working snack. Since we have a lot of friends with several nut allergies, please refrain from snacks containing nuts as much as possible. See note below regarding snacks as seen in your parent handbook.
“Snack takes place in the classroom at a time determined by each teacher's schedule and is intended to be brief. Please send a small snack that your child can open and eat independently such as cut fruit/veggies,yogurt or small bag of chips.Snacks should not require preparation, heating or teacher assistance.
Dismissal :
K-5: Dismissal time is 2:42 p.m. Children are dismissed through the front door and the blacktop doors. Kindergarten children are released a few minutes early through their own doors to avoid the “big kid” crowd.
Kindergarten, first, and second graders can be released to an older sibling in Grades 3–5.
Kindergarten will be dismissed through door #9.
First grade will be dismissed through door #7.
Grades 2-3 will be dismissed through door #6.
